Prior to becoming President of World Deaf Architecture, JP has run his practice, Stanton Architects, Inc. since 1994. JP’s main focus is helping affluent clients design and build their dream home projects. His clients value John’s exceptional creativity and empathetic manner. He shows great appreciation for their needs and applies it in their best interest in regard to their overall home design. JP’s expertise has helped many clients successfully reach their goals with universal design, aging-in place, net-zero energy homes, river/lake/beachfront homes, and more. JP has served clients in areas outside of his IL studio including CA, CO, FL, IN, IA, MI, MO, MT, TX and WI. When desired, JP travels to their homes and explores many ideas they may have never thought of; he loves to discuss how each homeowner can expand his/her perspective.
